Eighth blog post

Most of people say that they missed their country food and family when they went to abroad.
I want to say with my experience.
Two years ago, i went to Australia alone.
At first, I expected to Austalia and i lived without difficult.
But as time, i had many difficult. Then i felt such as loneliness.
I missed my family when i felt that.
So i called family frequently.
Next i will say abouy food.
I liked Kimchi. In Australia have almost greasy food. So i had to eat salty food such as Kimchi.
But there isn`t it in Australia. Sometimes i bought a lot of Kimchi when i go to city.

Good point and bad point about being famous.

Someone is famous in Korea.
Hm.. I think that maybe someone is “Star”
I’m going to talk about Star.
The life of star is the best example of good point and bad point about being famous.
I want to talk about good point first.
Top stars make lots of money and many people know them.
Even people copy everything them, wearing, eating, car of them and they move the house
near the star’s house.
On the other hand bad points are so much.
They don’t have any spare time and they always are had people eyes on.
So, they get so much stress. Even they decide to kill themselves.

I really don’t know what is better be famous or not be famous.

Dating in Korea

There are lots of many couple in Korea.
They drink some coffee or they eat something when they meet each other.
If not, they go to see the movie. That was common date before in Korea.
But, date has really changed these days!
Many people want to do active date more.
So, way of date is different at each season. Many couple usually go to amusement park or go flower – viewing in spring.
In summer the beach attracts many couples that’s why the days are long and beside summer is very hot.
Next is way of date in autumn. In autumn mountains attract that’s why leaves change color.
That’s pretty beautiful for the watcher.
The last one thing is winter.
Although the winters are freezing with a lot of snow the ski resort is popular.
I will go ski resort even though I’m alone.

Is Korea a racist country?

I don’t think so. I believe that Korean are cordial to anyone.

I’m sure that somebody might not be.

But there is no racism in Korea.

I think that when Korean met a foreigner, they are just bashful and embarrassed.

So, Almost foreigner thought that Korea is a racist country.

I think that is misunderstanding about Korean. I also lived in another country for almost 2years.

So, I understand it’s just a cultural difference now.

Please if you have some problem in Korea. I want you to ask Korean with smile.

If you do, Korean will answer to your question kindly, even if they can’t speak English well.

So, I want to believe that Korea isn’t racist country.

Fourth blog post

Korea and the Internet
I thought that Although Korea is small contry of world.
But,Korea is Strong and There are lots of adventages.
The Internet is the most adventage among others.

So,Almost Korean people used Internet at the home.
Because The speed of Internet is so fast in Korea.
When they want to know some information or buy something.
They would be helped by Internet.
Because That's more comfortable and useful.Also I was helped usually.
But, There are lots of weeknesses also.
The Internet addiction among teenager is serious.
That's one of the major drawbacks of the Internet.
So,I think that Internet is like a double-edged sword.
It might be turned to dangerous uses.If it is not properly used.
We should solve this problem quickly.

Third blog post

- Military service -



You know that all able - bodied South Korean men aged 20 and over are required to serve in the military for 2 years.

There is no exception for guys in Korea.

I think that is already a part of South Korea culture. But i don't know whether that is an appropriate or not.

However, i can say that is beautiful culture exactly.

I was a sergeant when i was discharged from the service.

At that time, i had muc self-respect and pride for the national defense and i realize the importance of time.

So, i read various books and i exercised regularly in my spare time.

Also i took etiquette lessons and i was trained in automobile maintenance.

I gained a lot of experience and even though just i think that i became mature when i was at the military service.

Altough that's been a long time ago. but i can remember that is most important part of my life.

So. In my opinion military service is beautiful culture for men in Korea.

If foreigner visit a friend's home in Korea. What should foreiners do?

If a foreigner friend visit me, I will go fishing with him.
Because I know many places that are good for fishing.
I think it's going to be fun.
Then, we will eat Korean food.
Do you know that there is a lot of famous food in Korea?
Bibimbab is the most famous of those.
I believe that  if he eats Bibimbab,he will really likes it.
Because it is incrediblely delicious and healthy.
And I also take him to Gyeong Ju. I went there maybe 10 years ago.
But I can't forget that there was really beautiful.
I believe you've already heard about Bulguksa.
It's a famous buddhist temple.

Anyway, I've got lots of plans for him in Korea.
Just let me tell you what you want to know about anything in Korea.
